·¬ÇÑÉçÇø the Project

This project aims to strengthen resilient and competitive smallholder farming systems by promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) and supporting the transformation of traditional cooperatives into market-oriented Modern Agricultural Cooperatives (MACs). It will train 4,200 farmers, including women and youth, through Farmer Field Schools and demonstration farms, while improving access to climate-resilient inputs and technologies such as improved seeds, bio-fertilizers, solar irrigation systems and greenhouses. The project will also support five cooperatives to adopt the MAC model through organizational strengthening, business development and financing of youth- and women-led initiatives, alongside investments in project management, policy dialogue, monitoring and knowledge sharing.
