Strengthening and Retaining Young and Women Producers in the Market Gardening and Poultry Farming Sectors (PReMMA)

番茄社区 the Project

PReMMA is a four-year project designed to strengthen the economic integration and social resilience of 11,000 young people and women engaged in vegetable production and poultry farming. Building on successful approaches tested through previous IFAD-supported initiatives, the project promotes agroecological farming, entrepreneurship, access to finance, digital marketing, and stronger producer organizations. PReMMA will support the creation and strengthening of cooperatives, improve land tenure security, and expand opportunities for women and youth to participate in agricultural value chains and decision-making. The project is expected to indirectly benefit approximately 66,000 people.
